Kelly Leonard

Headed up by practice owner Kelly Leonard (M.Ch.S. D.Pod.Med HCPC) Kelly is the owner and main Podiatrist/Chiropodist who also does laser treatments at the clinic. Kelly has over 20 years experience, qualifying from Matthew Boulton college in Birmingham in 2001.  

Kelly worked briefly in Swansea at Neath Hospital and the surrounding clinics on a short contract after qualifying before spending a year working for Shropshire NHS. 

Kelly always had a passion to travel and from the end of 2002-2005 she travelled around the world twice. Visiting places such as South America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand-where she did some work experience in a hospital/private clinic.

Once Kelly got home from travelling she decided she’d like to go into private practice and after spending a year renting a small room in a beauty salon in Coleham in Shrewsbury she decided it was time to open her own practice. 

Kelly started working for herself in 2006 and in 2007 she opened a small podiatry/chiropody practice on Coton Hill in Shrewsbury where she practised for 10 years. In 2016 Kelly bought Bonners dental lab on Monkmoor road and had now converted the building into Shrewsbury Podiatry and Laser Clinic.

As well as feet Kelly has lots of interests including horse riding, Kellys ARC which is small animal rescue centre, and walking her two dogs. More recently Kelly has become a mum to two beautiful boys, Harry and George, now two and three.
